You know , when Bush did the Energy bill, conservation was last , and he cut funding for alternitive fuels. His main focus was opening the arctic reserves for his friends.
Now he says we should conserve.
When others wanted him to release oil reserves to offset the high price of cude oil caused by his war which he lied to congress to start, he wouldn't release the oil reserves , now he says he will release the oil reserves , but the problem is the refineries , not the crude oil supply ...
Some say if the price of gas goes up too much that people will switch to other fuels and Bush is an oil man .. that would be bad for him and his friends ..
He's been killing renewable energy funding and now he's trying to suppress it again when there's possible public opinion for it because of the high prices.
Another case of short term Gain for his group and long term loss for the rest of us.
But then it's not the first time he's put the intrest of his buisness friends before the intrest of the rest of us.
