Population Issues

Every human problem we face is due to humans. As cynical as it sounds the best thing that could happen to the human race is to have a catastrophic Plague that leaves the resources but removes the demand on them.
This may be happening already and the real ability of a contagious pathogen is now readily available in the world we live in now. The E-Bola virus that devastated a remote African Village a few years ago was in an isolated region and did not spread to the next village by chance alone.
If a traveler had be there on the wrong day it could have reached the world.
This may have been devastating , but it could have been best for the world at large.
From the worlds view the biggest plague has been the Human race, not the 1912 flue pandemic.
But is there a different way for the world as a whole to survive ? The Tsunami in the Indian ocean took many lives and wiped some areas clear of humans and their buildings , but the space was still there , ready for the nature to return if allowed. When will we allow nature back to live in the world that we have chased it from? When will there be room for it?
If we continue to fill our world with more humans there will never be space left for other species. We have ignored the future , and refuse to see that the worlds plague is us.
How can you show some one that if they have offspring that each child needs a field to eat from of also ?
How do you ask someone not to have a child without them feeling that you are saying they are not worthy of reproducing?

We also have the continuing issue of growing food for our growing population, most of which is produced with fuel based systems. Some feel we can fix this problem with using our food stocks for fuel, But this only reduces the supply of the food we need and increases the cost of survival to those barely surviving now.

Simply put there is not enough surface space on the earth to provide the needed energy in food and fuel, or what is actually forms of solar energy, for the current population, much less the expected population of the future.

Governments press for more births to supply caretakers and income producers for the current aging population, but who will be their caretakers and providers? It is a very selfish position to put on our children, and they only increase the burden.

A woman with eight children was told that she would have food for them if she had half the children, she replied that she had to have many children because half of them died from starvation and she needed to be cared for in old age. Our children shall starve also.

If you have a bottle and drop a germ into it, and that germ divides every minute, dividing over and over until the bottle is full exactly sixty minutes later,,
at say 12:00 noon
what time is the jar half full ? So we find another three bottles to keep these bugs in . When are they full ?
I've heard of ...
Rats held in a cage and the over crowding caused cannibalism.

So now that we've got us four bottles full of human bugings and it's two past twelve.

Where are we going to get four more bottles to make it to three past?
What time is it ?

And is the jar half empty, or ,,
half full ?
