Once again Bush looks at short term gains for the people and big time profits for his Oil buddies.
There is ten years worth of oil in the Anwar reserves, but what happens after that?
What happens after we have burned the source of plastics that we could use for sustainable energy?
Why is it I haven't heard him say a word about the drain on resources that our population has on the Earth and suggested we limit our
narcissistic reproduction of earths consumers?
Those who wish to drop the gas tax are fooling us also, not only is it a token gesture, but it is just delaying the payment of the
needed and often past due repairs of the roads we burn that gas on.
Sort of like getting us a loan we will pay interest and distribution costs on to help us with our high outsourcing levels that are
draining our incomes and national wealth. As though they figure we won't get the bill until after they are elected.
Do the politicians suggest four day work weeks ? Do they suggest better millage from the auto makers?
Very rarely.
Do they suggest we stop making babies?
Never!
That would topple the pyramid scheme we call Social Security and cut down on the consumers that make our consumer society thrive. For
the moment.
But not for long.
We will run out of oil.
No question that there is only a limited amount of oil.
And we use a huge amount of oil simply to produce the food that sustains the consumers.
But now they want to use that food to make more fuel, to help grow more consumers.
Those pushing consumption of resources and “families” to produce more consumers plan on living well in their “Ivory Towers” until they
pass on leaving their kids to clean up the mess or die in the Hell they left.
But I don't think they actually wish to make Hell on earth.
Their goal may be to bring on the new world after Armageddon and like
the Helter Skelter of Manson it must start buy using up the cup of souls so the world can be consumed by Disease pestilence starvation
and flames.
Maybe it's all just a religious thing.
Everyone needs to suffer so they may go to heaven.
Bush is not a Christian.
A Christian turns the other cheek, not bomb women and children to save them from terrine
A Christian takes care of the gift their god gave them, not exploit it for personal gain at the cost of those left behind.
A Christian Blesses the children, not put them into servitude to their fathers dept.
A Christian doesn't want to kill those who worship their god in a different way.
That's Gods job, and a Good Christian does not put himself above God.
But Bush Does.
And so do many others professing their religion.
I'm not a Christian, nor Muslim, nor Budest, Toust, Shinto, or other religious order.
I'm a human and Believe we should help others as they wish to be helped and not as we think they should be helped.
Pulling someone up to our level is not a good thing if we are on a precipice and they are fine on the ground.
Who is better off?
The person with the big warm house and full time job that will never be enough to supply his consumptions or the
person with everything he needs in the front yard of his hut?
Is it really a kind thing to do if you replace the hut with the mansion?
Would it help them to Bomb them or buy them a Cadi ?
If they had a Cadi we'd have another Consumer to help use the Ethanol from the Corn they used to afford to eat.
